Green Tea Lemonade

Move over coffee! This little buzz of green tea with the pleasant tartness of fresh lemon will kickstart your morning. A touch of caffeine, a little bit of honey and lemon juice to start your metabolism strong!

Green Tea Lemonade

Servings: 2

Time: 5 minutes (active) 1 hour (inactive)

 

INGREDIENTS

Green Tea

16 oz water

2 bags Numi Organic Jasmine Green Tea

 

Lemonade

16 oz cold water

2 lemons, juiced

1 Tbsp honey

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat water to 155F. Combine water with tea bags and let steep 4 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags. Let cool in refrigerator 4 hours.
  3. Combine lemon juice with water and honey, stir to combine.
  4. Mix cooled tea with lemonade in a 1:1 ratio. Serve cold or over ice.
